CUTE CLIPS & HAIRBAND.....

HELLO TO ALL U LOVELY CRAFTERS,

We celebrated  the festival of Rakshabandhan a few days back...and the brothers have to give some gift to their sisters when they tie rakhi to them...so i thought what better than some hand made gifts....and i made these.......

SCHOOL PROJECTS BY ME : MY CUTE SPECTS & A MODEL OF A TREE !!!!!

Hello all,

Before making the BLUE BAG....i also made a model of a tree and a pair of cute and adorable spects for my younger one as he didn't get the spects along with the dress (he had participated in the fancy dress compitition as Subhash Chandra Bose).

The pics are as follows ,

 first the Spects,

I have made the spects using 2 pipecleaners, some black satin ribbon and white glue. Its super easy and most important that its harmless for the kids as it doesn't have any glasses in it and also its  soft and and super cute....isn't it....
I m Entering it for the ITSY BITSY - ANYTHING FOR THE KIDS CHALLENGE..

And now the tree,

i have made the basic structure of the tree using a brown paper bag.....just cut its top and then make few snips vertically till u reach half way...and then twist.

Then i covered the whole tree with the brown packing tape...

made the scales in the bark of the tree using a black marker pen....

made the leaves with cotton dipped in the mix of green poster colour and white glue. Added a fewartificial small flowers and lots of small plastic green leaves on top of the cotton and also at the base of the tree to give it a natural look.....

And....tada...my tree model was ready...my son liked it....i hope his teacher also likes it....

Give me ur precious feedback on my various projects...

MY BLUE BAG !!!!

Hi all Crafters...

Last week my son, who is in 3rd grade, brought a piece of cloth from School and told me mom we have to make a bag out of it and also decorate it...

so after thinking about its pattern and design , i started stitching it(which i was doing after fairly long long time ) and this is what it looked like...

i have decorated it  with the same fabric flowers which i have made....

and have used them to lock the flap with the help of the coordinating blue ribbon....

i made it a single strap so that he can wear it on his shoulders, sideways...

My son loved it....i m waiting for ur comments on this.

I m posting my this bag for the following Challenges :

ITSYBITSY CHALLENGE - Anything for the kids.

3GJAM CHALLENGE - Back to school projects w/ ribbon

Notebook out of a cereal box !!

Hi...all...

made this note book as best out of waste project from a cereal box....if u like it and want to see the tutorial then go to www.cremedelacraft.com

I did it with a little variation, that instead of sewing in the pages , i have hole punched and threaded them with a satin ribbon so that i can add more pages when needed.

THANK YOU !!!!
